Using Arduino-compatible shields

I've been trying to figure out how to use Arduino-shields with the BCM4343W.

Starting with very simple example: a Tower-Pro SG 90 servo. I've been trying to use the Servo library but no success yet: the

I started by putting the Servo library source under the WICED SDK /library directory, created the .mk file to make the library available. The problem I'm strugling is that the Servo library depends on <wiring.h> which is basic library available in Arduino, but not available in Wiced SDK.

I wonder what would be the best way to use the Arduino-compatible libraries like this one.

The expansion connectors of the BCM4343W IoT Starter Kit are pinout and electrically compatible with what is used on (3.3V interface) Arduino-compatible MCU boards. The software environment however is completely different.
