Following the quick start guide.  When I plug in the USB cord the board is powered but doesn't install all drivers.  Board doesn't appear to be in SoftAP mode as I cannot see the SSID WICED_AWS

The kit ships with the AWS IoT Shadow app pre-programmed into flash memory. If the kit fails to boot, it is recommended that this out-of-box application be re-programmed by the user. For this, a commandline batch program is provided to reprogram the kit back to this default application.

Download link for command-line batch programmer.

Peter,

Thank you for the troubleshooting guidance. I downloaded the programer (v2) and ran the bat file (command line) as instructed. The screen instantly noted that the files were updated and that the avnet bcm4343w unit was restarting. I expected there to be some time for the reprogrammer to occur. I still can't see the SSID to begin using it.  I have a Windows 10 (64 bit) laptop. Can you help me identify what I'm doing wrong?

Thanks!

Reprogramming of the module typically takes about 1 minute.

If the batch file appears to complete immediately you should check if your USB JTAG driver installed correctly.
