Hi,

Looking for solid GPS location information.

Any suggestions on what to use ,how hook it up ?

or can I derive location from the LTE signal ?

I tried some other raspberry pi models that work good outside in the middle of a field.

thanks!

Hi,  There is information about adding a GPS to the K64F with the AT&T starter kit, can be found a bit down on the page here:  http://cloudconnectkits.org/product/att-cellular-iot-starter-kit

Any GPS that works with the Pi will still work with the Pi and the add-on kit, the add-on kit only interfaces via the USB port, the HAT connector signals are all still available to wire up whatever.

There is some information available on LTE location via AT commands of the M14A2A, AT&T has the only published AT command reference online here:

https://s3-us-west-2.amazonaws.com/starterkit-assets/AT%26T_Commands_Gui...

I don't know if it contains the location commands or not (in the AT&T AT cmd reference) also there is no GPS unit in the M14A2A.

Best Regards
