Hi,

I have a very simpel question just to be sure that I understand this correctly. The UART on the click board slots are common. I have two click boards and both of them needs to use the UART. Since the UART is common this is not possible. Am I correct?

Just a comment. One of the click boards is Bluetooth and need to act as a slave/client. Therefore the UART should be in listening mode all the time.

Hi Olsen,

You're correct, the UART (ISU0) is common across both Click sockets and the unpopulated PMOD connector .  Can you find a click board with the same functionality that uses one of other hardware interfaces that are avaliable on the click socket, say an I2C or SPI device?

This constraint is due to the limited number of connections from the Azure Sphere Module on the board.  Since there is not enough real estate on the module to pin out all possible signals, the design team had to make some choices on which signals to pin out.

Thank you for your answer. I will see if I can find a device using I2C or SPI

Thanks
