Cannot connect -- need help getting shield online

I have the cellular shield connected directly to a PC and am issuing AT commands manually. Power is provided using the 2.4A USB wall wart. I cannot connect to the network and would appreciate any guidance on what I'm missig or doing wrong. Thanks in advance!

Which instructions are you following to issue the AT commands that you showed?

I suspect you have not set the APN up to connect to the network.  Which instructions are you following to accomplish this?

It is also possible you have not activiated the SIM in Jasper (AT&T Control Center).  Can you please let us know what instructions you are following.  This will allow us to figure out the script you are following to identify anything that may have been overlooked.
